Next, the Pumpkin Pirates sailed to Ketchikan, another city on the coast of Alaska. Here they learned about the first people who lived in Alaska. These people lived in villages and hunted, farmed and fished for their food. They cut down huge trees and carved animals and faces in them. These are called totem poles.
