When the morning sun really did begin to rise, sparkles of orange light twinkled in the ice.
April and Nelly thought the ice was pretty, but they were sad because so many trees and shrubs had been bent or broken by
the Ice Dragon. Fortunately, some lifted up again as the ice slowly melted away.
April and Nelly looked forward to telling the other Garden Pixies about their adventure, but April worried that they might
have trouble understanding about snow and ice. So she spent several days making little paintings for them to see when
they came back to the garden in the spring.
The Ice Dragon did not return that winter.
The End.
