Garden Pixies know nothing about snow and ice because they always fly off to someplace warm before cold winter weather comes to the garden. When Nelly hurt her wing and couldn't make the long journey, April and Bugpuppy offered to stay with her until spring when everyone else would return. Together, they learned about snow and ice. They also met a hungry creature who thought the pixies would be tasty snacks, The Terrible-Tempered Ice Dragon.
