Here are three scenes that can be discussed in a variety of ways. Start with identifying colors. Then look for matches. Try some counting exercises for fun. What else can your child tell you about these pictures?
This frog likes flowers.
What color are the flowers that he's holding?
How many more flowers are that color?
What color are the other flowers?
What does this frog see in the pond?
What colors are they? How many yellow ones are there?
How many white? How many black? How many red?
Do you see any other colors of fish?
What is Mister Toad holding?
Can you name the colors? Can you count them?
