Frogwart said, "One a might look a little different than another. I guess that's okay, but sometimes they even sound different. How can they all be a's if they make different sounds?"
"I'm afraid some letters do have more than one sound," said Tippity. "Our language is made up of words and sounds from all over the world. Sometimes it can be confusing, but it's fun, too, like a big puzzle. Pretty soon we all learn the different sounds.
